Should Olympics go ahead?

 Hi Everyone, here is my research findings on Olympics and if they should go ahead. I also have an opinion and if you would like to know read this post and scroll to the bottom. Let me know what your opinion is. Charlotte :)

Reasons the Olympics shouldn’t go ahead

It should go ahead because it was already postponed.  People have earned spots on teams and they may not be able to go in the years further.  In 1998 with the Japanese flu they still did it and it was a lot safer than they thought it would be.  People have booked tickets, hotels, heaps and it wouldn’t be fair for it not to happen when they have spent heaps of money on it.  It will help boost up international flights and help the local hotels and food services make money because there are traveler's.  They have already made the village for the compterers.

Covid-19 could be spread. Only 1% of Japan has been vaccinated for Covid-19.  The Japanese public does not approve and they are the ones who are hosting it. People might be scared to go because they could be worried about catching CoronaVirus or flu's.    Scientists have worked out that there is going to be a big earthquake in Japan sometime in the next year or so. It could cause more deaths and injuries. The hospitals don’t need more people; they are already dealing with the Covid-19 patients.

My overall opinion is it should happen!!  

Because so much money has been put into the Olympic games and it has cost $50 M so it definitely needs to go ahead.
