Body parts in Maori

 Hi Everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Got out of lockdown a week or 2 ago so getting back into the school routine. Last week was Maori language week and I did some stuff but I hadn't had a chance to post. So here is something I really enjoyed posting and making. Have a great day and weekend. Charlotte :)

Chocolate Chip cookie recipe.

 Hi Everyone, still in lockdown. Today for writing I am making some cookies and you can do the same recipe I made. 

You will, 

100g of butter

1/2 of white sugar

1/2 of brown sugar

1 eggs,

1 tsp of vanilla essence

1 1/2 of flour

a pinch of salt

1/2 tsp of baking powder

1 cup of chocolate chips. 

Melt the butter then cream the butter with both sugars, then add vanilla essence and the egg to the bowl. Keep beating when it is all in the bowl and all the dry ingredients.

Virtues i've shown over lockdown

 Hi Everyone, I am back in lock down. I have heaps of new work that I will be posting. We have been in lock down for a few days now and I haven't done to much work yet. Caring - I cleaned the car 

Kindness -  I made some baking for my family

Loyalty - when my Mum asked me to help wash the dishes, I kept helping when my friends were texting me to come play with them. 

Love - I kept playing with my brother because I love him.

Responsibly - my Dad trusted me to cook responsibly by myself.

Magic Ice Cream superpower

Magic Stardust ad!!

 Hi Everyone, in my previous posts you may have noticed a little bit of a pattern. I have been studying the Olympics. I wondered what helped make the medals and who does it. I did some research and it was fun. I thought it could be interesting for you to learn about it. Should Olympics go ahead?

 Hi Everyone, here is my research findings on Olympics and if they should go ahead. I also have an opinion and if you would like to know read this post and scroll to the bottom. Let me know what your opinion is. Charlotte :) 

Reasons the Olympics should go ahead

Reasons the Olympics shouldn’t go ahead

It should go ahead because it was already postponed.  People have earned spots on teams and they may not be able to go in the years further.  In 1998 with the Japanese flu they still did it and it was a lot safer than they thought it would be.  People have booked tickets, hotels, heaps and it wouldn’t be fair for it not to happen when they have spent heaps of money on it.  It will help boost up international flights and help the local hotels and food services make money because there are traveler's.  They have already made the village for the compterers.

Covid-19 could be spread. Only 1% of Japan has been vaccinated for Covid-19.  The Japanese public does not approve and they are the ones who are hosting it. People might be scared to go because they could be worried about catching CoronaVirus or flu's.    Scientists have worked out that there is going to be a big earthquake in Japan sometime in the next year or so. It could cause more deaths and injuries. The hospitals don’t need more people; they are already dealing with the Covid-19 patients.

My overall opinion is it should happen!!  

Because so much money has been put into the Olympic games and it has cost $50 M so it definitely needs to go ahead.

Hi Everybody, our story for storytelling is The Wayfinder and in the story a boy Manu and is island are moving because they have run out of food, water and things to keep them healthy so they are moving to a new island. Wanted Poster for Roads end

 Hi Everyone, for writing this week we watched a little mini movie call "Roads end". So in the video a man can predict the future. He thinks of something and that is what will happen in the future. So he  was hitchhiking and I guy pulls over, the man thinks of doing something and it happens. To find out what ends up happening go watch the video Roads end.
