Hi Everyone this a bit late but here is my term 3 story telling story it is the blind man and the hunter. The Hunter is Joe and the blindman is Ashton Charlotte
Ashton smiled happily as he walked alongside Joe. The sun shone brightly and Ashton could feel the warmth on his face. Joe was feeling grumpy and impatient and he started to walk faster away from Ashton. Suddenly, Ashton called out in a loud whisper ̈Stop ̈. Joe turned around and saw that Ashton was frozen. He knew something was up just round the corner there was some Lions playing with his cubs. They walked very slowly just in case the lion would pounce on them and eat them up. They were walking just down the path then Bob said in a loud whisper ̈STOP¨. I can hear a snake up ahead in the tree it could give us a poisonous bite if we are not careful. They walked slowly past the snake bending their heads down. They nearly came to the spot they would set their traps when all of a sudden Bob said ¨STOP¨ there is a group of Elephants drinking water and cleaning themselves. They walked really quietly past them they did want to start a stamped. They came to their destination the small hill with a rainbow every hour. Joe started to feel a bit more confident about Ashton and his hearing so he said "I" will teach you how to set a trap and maybe you can come another time because you pretty helpful and I will need a bit of luck on my "side". So Joe taught and helped Ashton set his traps for the birds and other yummy things they could eat. The next day Bob and Ashton got to the small hill with a rainbow every hour and in Bobs trap lay a beautiful rainbow bird but in Joe's trap lay a plump brown bird . Joe quickly swapped the birds because he wanted the beautiful rainbow bird not the plump brown bird. When they were walking home Joe said "so why is there not a lot of hope in the world"?
"because of people like you who like to trick people". Joe had just released that Ashton might be able to see but he can totally feel and do other cool things that Joe and the other villagers can't do. Then Joe said "I am so sorry for swapping the birds in the first place, here this is your bird so you can keep it. After that Joe and Ashton went hunting every day and became very good friends and they all lived happily ever after.
The end my Charlotte
Great story Charlotte! At this time of the year we have to be on the lookout for poisonous snakes too, especially if we go anywhere in the bush lands. Granddad Kearns.
